Hub Sports Center 10 Year Anniversary Family Fun Festival

The HUB Sports Center, a nonprofit, community-based, sports facility, will celebrate 10 years of service to youth and families by hosting its annual Family Fun Festival, HUB-apalooza, this Friday, September 29 from 4-7pm. Parents and kids will have the opportunity to participate in multiple games and activities.

There will be a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 4:30pm with the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce and Greater Spokane Incorporated. Past and present Board of Director members will make brief comments regarding the impact this organization has had on the community. Many community leaders and elected officials will be in attendance.

The goal of the HUB-apalooza Family Fun Festival is to showcase the variety of events and activities that take place at the HUB Sports Center (19619 E. Cataldo Ave. - Barker Rd. exit of I-90). All five basketball courts as well as the upstairs mezzanine and studios will have activities for kids and families to participate. Activities include: basketball, volleyball, futsal/soccer, pickleball, baseball, table tennis, aerobics, and martial arts. Some food and drinks will be provided.

"We are inviting the community to come celebrate our 10 year anniversary with us. Bring the family and explore some of the fun events and activities that take place at the HUB Sports Center." - Phil Champlin Executive Director of the HUB Sports Center.
