Learn leadership from a winner this Friday morning

Winning Eastern Washington University coach Beau Baldwin will be the featured speaker at the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber's Business Connections Breakfast this Friday morning from 6:30 to 8:30 am at the Mirabeau Park Hotel. This is an extraordinary opportunity to hear from a champion leader right here in the Northwest. Coach Baldwin will be sharing his thoughts on leadership and developing a winning team. In addition, Bobby Brett, Managing Partner of Brett Sports will be featured during the CEO Spotlight.

Before their 2010 season began, many people didn't have Eastern Washington University ranked as a top 25 team. But Baldwin took a recurring playoff team to the national championship game. The Eagles finished the 2010 season 13-2 overall and won the NCAA Division I Championship with a 20-19 come-from-behind victory over Delaware.

Baldwin's .750 winning percentage in Big Sky Conference games (30-10) is the best-ever by an Eastern head coach. He was named the 2012 Big Sky Conference co-Coach of the Year, and five of his seven seasons as head coach have ended with playoff berths.

Come and hear this champion leader this Friday at Mirabeau Park Hotel, 1100 N Sullivan, Spokane Valley. Coffee and conversation begin at 6:30am and the program starts at 7am. The cost is $25 for members and guests and $45 for non-members. Go to spokanevalleychamber.org to register for this event or call 509-924-4994.
