Art Spirit Gallery in CdA features Mel McCuddin

Spokane artist Mel McCuddin's paintings just make you smile, and starting this Friday at the Art Spirit Gallery in Coeur d'Alene you will have plenty to smile about. Come see 45 of his new works and meet Mel in person Friday evening from 5 to 8 pm at the gallery, 415 Sherman Avenue in downtown Coeur d'Alene. Enjoy a lively evening of fine art, entertainment, fine dining and good friends in downtown Coeur d'Alene. Then come watch Mel demonstrate his unique style from 1 to 4 on Saturday.

At 78 years young, Mel McCuddin continues to engage us with his cast of offbeat characters that emerge from his studio on canvas...runners, maidens, rabbits, cats, etc. And they all have great titles to match.

You can watch an excellent 7 minute video titled The World According to Mel McCuddin by going to www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1495046218041&ref=mf.

The Business Thought of the Week

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
